· I have four roon ready wiim pros and one wiim mini. My Roon server is seeing one of my Roon Ready Wiim pros as the Wiim Mini and not the Wiim Pro. Whenever I select the Roon ready Wiim Pro the Wiim Mini plays.

Hello @Exile72

Thank you for reaching Roon support.

Can you try clearing your endpoint cache? You can do so using the following steps:

Note: Deleting these files will

  • Log you out of Tidal/Qobuz
  • Delete your endpoint names.
  • Delete saved DSP configs.

If this doesn’t help, please restore the backup you made before trying these steps.

Thanks for the advice. I cleared the cache and it did not fix the problem so I then did some research to see if my Wiim Pro was somehow set up incorrectly and I realized that when I reset the Wiim Pro it inadvertently changed it’s audio output setting to Bluetooth instead of optical. So whenever i played a track on the Wiim Pro it connected to a pair of speakers that are connected to my Wiim Mini which have bluetooth as an option for playback. A crazy problem that I’ve never run into before. Why the Wiim Pro would reset itself back to an audio output that had never been set before is a total mystery but happy to report that all is working fine again.
