Running Roon Core/Server on dedicated Windows Laptop. Worked fine when I first set things up. Even was able to use ARC. After restarting the Laptop and Roon Server only devices connected to the Laptop and Chromecast services are visible. Before the restart, I could see both of my Denon’s and could connect from any Android device. After the restart no device can see the Roon Server except the laptop on which it is running. No other changes made to network. Just wondering before I pull the plug on the trial. Not paying for something that works once.
What are the IP addresses of your devices? They are probably listed on the router’s admin web page. Note that everything related to Roon must be on the same subnet. Typically this is something like 192.168.1. Then everything must have a 192.169.1.x address, not a different range like 192.168.5.x or something like that.
And check if you have to add exceptions to the Windows firewall. The last Roon update added a new required one (RoonAppliance.exe), and I think Windows is also known to occasionally undo them after a Windows update.
