Description of Issue

The error first appeared in November 2023. The above-mentioned hardware and software constellation was not changed during this period.

Two users are set up on the iMac. Roon is entered as the start application under user A (admin). The iMac runs 24/7.

If the user account changes to user B, the Roon remotes (2x iPad, 2 x Android, 1x Macbook) are no longer connected to the Roon server and also report this. An attempt to reconnect is unsuccessful.

However, the Roon bridges (?) in my devices continue to receive the stream. I can continue to control the set stream via my extension rooDial (rooExtend by definiteAudio).

The Roon interface is also available and works on the iMAC, which contains the Roon core (see above).

The state remains this way even if I switch back to user A’s account on the iMAC.

The only solution is to restart the iMAC.

Hi @Matthias_Zschunke ,

Is the other user account still running when this occurs, or do you log out of your secondary account?

Do you have Roon Bridge installed on the 2nd user account? I would check under your ~Library and ~Applications/Roon.app/Show Contents paths to see if RoonBridge is installed.
