Hello @paul_mckoen

I see the community has already guided you to the solution and your Roon Server is operational again.

To provide technical context on why this occurred: Roon no longer supports the native application available through the QNAP App Center. QNAP’s native operating system does not update the software libraries required by modern Roon dependencies. When you initiated the update via the iOS app, the Roon Server attempted to run on those outdated legacy libraries, which caused the application to crash and report as “stopped.”

Migrating to Docker via Container Station is now the only officially supported method for running Roon Server on a QNAP NAS. The Docker container provides an isolated environment containing all the necessary, up-to-date dependencies that Roon requires to function properly.

You have successfully transitioned to the correct architecture. I will close this ticket as the issue is resolved.
