Hi, I’ve been using the Roon Core for many years as specified in Running Roon Core in a VM. And I’ve found a satisfactory level of automation with the setup and run of a Roon Core. That is, if I focus only in a new bring up and ignore the process of updating the host machine that runs it.
As updating to newer versions of the OS host is a migration event for the Roon Core, then the restore/backup functionality becomes the next part of the automation focus. And because command line backup/restore is not supported, then this part of the process becomes the only thing for which I need to get eyes and hands into the UI.
Here’s an earlier topic on the matter created by @ezman. And I know the response there is that’s unsupported, I would assume that something like that must exist internally for QA/Testing.
Can you consider making backup/restore available through the command line?
