Roon Server run on newly released Mac Mini M4 and macOS 15 Sequoia?

Running Roon on a Mac Mini 2018 running macOS 12.7.6. I would like to migrate Roon to one of the newly released 2024 Mac Mini M4 and macOS 15 Sequoia.

Will Roon Server run on this no problem?

Thank you in advance, Sam

It runs fine in principle and many people use it, but there is an ongoing issue with device discovery that may require you to toggle a network access setting. Some (apparently not all) need to do this repeatedly (e.g., after a server restart). Roon Labs is working on this.

I managed to fix this issue by just turning a VPN on and off after a restart. Works everytime. (On m1 MacBook and m4 Mac mini ).

As long as the mini is running there is no issue. Even when turning the endpoints on and off.

Don’t know where the bug exactly is but it works this way

There’s much more detail and (recent) findings from investigation in the central tracking thread for the issue that I posted above. It seems clear that Apple added additional requirements for apps, which probably have to be added to Roon, and in addition macOS might be a bit buggy in this area as well.
