My Roon server will not start after applying latest update. Seems like my QNAP NAS thinks the app is running, but when I open it, it says, “stopped.” Restarting the QNAP, but it takes a while to do so, and I need to go to bed. Fingers crossed….

Update – April 20, 2026: We’re moving this release to April 27, 2026. Testing and EarlyAccess feedback surfaced issues with the Docker image on some Linux and NAS systems. Docker can run on a wide range of hardware, operating systems, and storage configurations, and each combination behaves a little differently - some issues are in the image itself, others only show up in specific host environments. Since Docker is how some of the affected users will keep running Roon after the new requirement…

Yes, the system requirements have changed, and we have a new Docker QNAP install procedure for this. Please use that guide for the updated setup on QNAP and let us know if you need any help along the way.
