· I’m am running Roon Server on a headless Mac Mini. Attached to it is one Roon Ready device on a subnet. It has run fine for a few years. Yesterday, I updated to MacOS 15.7.7 and updated the firmware on the device. Now, Roon can’t see the device, even though I can ping it. It will blip in for a second in Audio, then disappear. The stranger thing is that I have devices attached to two of my Roon Remotes and they have disappeared as well. The only devices that show up on the server or on any Remote are System Output and the Mini’s speakers. So I can’t play music to anything now. Any help would be appreciated.

Since you’re running macOS, the behavior you’re seeing is consistent with the newer, stricter Local Network permission controls in the recent macOS releases.
Please try the following steps:
Open macOS System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network
Make sure Roon and Roon Server are both enabled
Even if they are already enabled, please toggle them off and back on
Fully quit Roon Server from the macOS menu bar / task bar
Reboot your Mac
After reboot, launch Roon again and check if the devices is avaliable again.
Once these permissions are refreshed and the system restarted, your audio devices should reappear.

That is excellent news! I am glad to hear that toggling those Local Network permissions got your devices communicating with the Roon Server again.
Apple’s recent security updates in macOS Sequoia have introduced some very strict local network access rules, and sometimes macOS just needs that manual toggle to properly refresh its permissions cache.
