ROON should continue working without INTERNET

ROON needs to allow ROON to recongnize NO INTERNET and continue to play; at least for a 24 hour period. I believe a license check is done and I understand this but it should CAPTURE the that validation and allow it to be used for the next day or so without requiring a RECHECK. Same for metadata when internet is not available; just give Pop-up message. Almost every time there’s an outage, I’m without music and it SUCKS!

It does. There is a license check once in a 30-day window. It works without internet during this time (obviously without the features that need internet)

In other welcome news, we’ve removed the internet requirement that was first introduced with Roon 2.0. Roon will now function without an active internet connection, consistent with Roon 1.8 and earlier build behavior. For more details on these changes and more, click this link.
