Hello @ub4m-ikd ,

What kind of browser are you using to try to login? Does it happen with multiple browsers? Are you using popup blockers?

Do you have any Content Blockers toggled on in your Safari settings?

  1. Open up the Safari browser.
  2. Open the “Safari” menu in the top left corner of the screen.
  3. Click “Preferences” > “Websites” > “Content blockers.”
  4. Any content blocking services currently active will be listed here. If any are active, toggle them off and try to login again.

Another other suggestion is to clear your Safari Cache & Cookies. Let us know if any of these suggestions resolve the issue.

Dear Norris,
As you instructed, I opened Safari, verified that content blocking was disabled, and cleared my entire history, but the issue persists. Just as before, when I open the login page, my account is recognized, but whenever I try to proceed to the next step, I’m sent back to the login page—it’s a never-ending cycle.

Hello @ub4m-ikd ,

Thanks for reaching back to us.

We’d like to ask you to try following steps also:

  • please ensure that time on your machine is set properly, it is important for connections.
  • please make chrome your default web browser and head to chrome’s settings → Privacy and security → Site Settings → Pop ups and redirects → and temporarily enable pop ups and redirects for login purposes.

Let us know please if that helped.

    Thanks.

Unfortunately, the result remains the same. I’m still stuck going back and forth between the login page and the page that displays “Welcome back” after verifying my account.

Hey @ub4m-ikd,

Thanks for the update so far! Apologies if this has been glazed over, but have you tested your macOS firewall yet?

Temporarily disable your firewall and see if the same issues occur. If you’re able to gain access with your firewall disabled, we’ll want to ensure you get Roon added as a proper exception moving forward. Here’s more info on how to do this:

We’ll be on standby for your reply and results, thank you!

Thank you. After turning off the firewall in my Mac’s System Preferences, it started working. Just to be safe, I also updated my email address and password. My new email address is [redacted].

@ub4m-ikd ,

Thanks for getting back to us .

We’re glad that your issue is resolved.

Enjoy your music!
