what tier of service are you with Tidal as Roon does not work with free tiers or trials.
Additionally are you absolutely sure you are logged into Roon:Tidal with the correct account?
30 second samples are an indication that Roon is not seeing a valid paid Tidal account.
Please double check the status and tier of your Tidal account; as @AceRimmer mentioned, a stoppage at precisely 0:30 usually indicates that the Tidal API is restricting your account to the hi-fi preview, not the full track.
If your tier of Tidal account shouldn’t be restricting playback, then log out/back in from Tidal in Roon Settings → Services or manually resync the account from the same page.
