Roon control operated from latest Roon App on Iphone 14

Skipping tracks (after 30s) on some albums eg PinkFloyd Dark Side and Dire Straits Communique) but other albums play ok

Have tried to switch off / reboot everything but same skips remain

Extender seems to have strong signal streams HD to TV with no problem

Is this local files or via a streaming service?

If the latter it is a sure fire sign that somewhere the login for the streaming service has failed within Roon as 30 second soundbytes are typical of this syptom.

Please verify all login credentials are correct for your PAID streaming subscription, please note that Roon does NOT support ANY free streaming subscription level.

Hi Thanks for this - the error occurs when from playing local files from the Library stored on the Innuos Roon Core. Please note, I have also tried changing the Resync delay to 1500 ms to no avail.

Does this issue happen only on the ARCAM DAC, or does it also occur on other zones? Can you let us know the exact local time + date + track when the issue next occurs? WE’ll enable diagnostics.

What is the model/manufacturer of all your networking gear (router, switches, etc)?

Hi Noris - home network as follows

Main router is EE Smart Hub Sh 31B

Roon Core - Innuos Zen Mini - 2.6.4 - hardwire to ARCAM DAC - Ethernet Connection to TPLink AV 600 for output to second TP Link AV600 connected via ethernet to Meridian 218 Zone Controller (located in another room.)

Skipping occurs for output to iPhone, ArcamDAC and Meridian (all on same tracks).

I will try and play something now on the Arcam - Pink Floyd - Darkside of Moon 10 tracks. 20:44 all tracks skip after exactly 30sec. Abba Gold 20:46 plays normally.

What is the resolution of the files that skip vs those that play through like the Abba Gold?

Hi - Thank you for the suggestion. I think the problem is solved. When I checked the file formats I noticed that a few albums were in mp3 format downloaded from Tidal. This included Dark Side of the Moon. Abba Gold and the remainder ( the majority of the library) were ripped / downloaded in flac format from the Cd collection and play fine. I ceased my Tidal subscription so that’s probably why these particular downloads in library skip tracks.
