· Roon often skips the first track of an album when playing from Qobuz. When I quit Roon and play directly from the Qobuz app or Audirvana, neither of them have problems, they play all the tracks.

Does this occur regardless of the sample rate/bit depth and the Zone selected for playback in Roon? Have you ever see it occur with a local library track?
If this is inconsistent (not every album) and only affects Qobuz, then it sounds like you’re plausibly experiencing a known upstream issue between the Qobuz API and their content delivery network in certain regions.
We’re tracking this issue here:
Qobuz will ultimately be responsible for releasing a fix, but Roon is working behind the scenes to expedite their investigation. We’ll watch for your response.
Thanks for the update! We were able to review a fresh Roon Server diagnostic report and can confirm you’re unfortunately experiencing the known issue @connor has shared above.
We’ll be sharing any udpates to the thread linked above, but in the meantime, some users have found workarounds such as:
Setting up a temporary VPN to a location outside of your current
Setting up a lower resolution playback via Roon Settings > Services > Qobuz > Playback quality.
Just checking in on this. Have you had a chance to try the workarounds we mentioned, like connecting through a temporary VPN outside your current location or lowering Qobuz playback quality in Roon Settings > Services > Qobuz > Playback quality? If you have any updates on how that’s going, let us know, thanks.
I’m running Roon on an intel NUC with Rock. I don’t know how to install a VPN on that configuration. I also don’t want to compromise on sound quality, therefore I have not reduced the Playback quality in Settings.
I can report I am having no issues whatsoever playing hi-res files from Qobuz using both the Qobuz app and Audirvana.
