Roon skips tracks with no sound on Eversolo A8, works on other setups (ref#YY5CNS)

Does the device show up at all in Roon Settings -> Audio?

· The Zone is listed under the wrong protocol

Does the device play audio from another source when using the same connection?

· The device has no problems with another audio source

Have you checked that Roon is whitelisted in any firewalls?

· I've checked the firewall and the issue remains

If the device has multiple output options, do the other options work as expected?

· Multiple output types are affected

Is the device using the latest firmware as per the manufacturer?

· Firmware is up-to-date but the issue remains

Do you have an approximate timestamp of when the issue last occurred?

· It’s 3-4days when I realized, server missing.

What are the make and model of the affected audio device(s) and the connection type?

· Dmp-A8 and Hegel h190

I got a 60-day trial coupon when I bought an Eversolo A8. I like the service, it's really good, but one day the system stopped, it won't play anything, neither from my server nor from Qobuz. It just skips tracks, but there's no sound, but everything worked fine for weeks. Well, now it's free, but if I decide to subscribe, for 15€ a month, it won't work anymore, the service won't work. I have internet on my PC, I've updated everything, but I have no idea why it stopped.
I also reinstalled yesterday pc but same problem, however, default audio output play music, but all Roon ready devices are not.
Also tried install on my Mac Studio, no issues.
Any idea?

Describe your network setup

I have 300/300 fiber connections with tp-link mesh network WiFi 7, Roon pc is connected with Ethernet cable.

as I wrote this before, I had everything set up and everything worked except for the Roon ARC, but one day everything just crashed. I have no idea what happened, I didn’t disable anything, everything works the same as before. I smoked with it again for two hours today but now it works, even if you gave me 1M dollars I wouldn’t be able to tell you what was wrong, because all my devices are plugged into a switch and that into the mesh router, so it’s just a wired connection. The A8 shows up as a Roon ready device, the Hegel doesn’t. but anyway, one device is enough for playback.

I also noticed that you’re still having trouble playing to your Hegel. We’d be happy to help with that as well. Could you provide a bit more information?

  1. Which Hegel model are you using?
  2. Are you able to enable the endpoint in Roon?
  3. If playback starts but you don’t hear sound, could you share a screenshot of your signal path while playing to the Hegel?
