Just upgraded my Mac OS to Sierra for both server and the remote machine (connected to the audio system). Now the response of my remote machine is a bit sluggish. Everytime I start music after some silence, it takes a while (5-10 sec) for the remote to “wake up”, and it starts playing the first few seconds with a noisy start. This never happened until the previous OS X. Is there anything I can do to lighten up the load for Roon to act more quickly?
