Once again the Roon software on my Mac, which is the server, cannot connect
This looks like your internet Up/Down speed . Its’s more likely an internal network issue . The download speed for music is small certainly compared with these number. Mine is a mere 50 Up 50 Down
how do you connect the server to the router (should be ethernet)
how do you connect your end points to the router
when was the last time you restarted your network devices
when did you last restart the Roon server software
@acj -What happens when you click the “Select a different Roon Server” button - and you can ignore the warning about potentially losing your music - you won’t.
Hello Mike, thanks for your attention.
The internet speed sent was just to see that I am connected.
But the Roon software is installed on my Macbook Pro which is the Roon Server.
It is connected to the sound devices via Gigabit Ethernet, and when it connects to the server correctly, ir plays perfectly on my systems. However, as you can see on the left side of the print, it is not connecting at all.
The network switch and routers have been restarted last week while I was having a similar issue after Roon released a new software version. After that I have reinstalled a couple of times and it finally connected. However, today it is failing to connect again. I have already downloaded the software again from Roon site and reinstalled, however, without any success.
It looks like there is a problema with the software again.
Hope you guys can help me with that.

Hi Geoff, I was afraid to try that and loose the config, but will do so!
tks
Hi Geof, this didn’t work either!!!
I will restart everyhing and try again.
Hi Mike,
I have restarted the whole system (ethernet network, switch, routers, MacBook) and launched Roon software again. It apparently updated some data for the current software version. After that it finally worked and connected with the server and it looks like it is working.
I just hope this was the last time. It wouldn’t be nice having to do that every week or so.
Thanks anyway for your help.
Best Regards,
