Hi Rudi,
i have translated your question to english language.
Roon is installed on an audio PC and is controlled remotely from a laptop. An msi geforce gt 710 2gd3h lp graphics card is installed in the audio PC. By deactivating the graphics card, the latencies are lower than with the graphics card. Graphics card then Microsoft Remote Display Adapter. But here I have the problem. Only after a restart Roon opens properly, if I close Roon, then Roon can no longer be opened. Maybe someone from the community can help me with my problem.
Many thanks for the answers and LG Rudi
Hallo Tom! Thank you very much
Doesn’t sound like a Roon issue from the little that got posted and more like someone is hitting the limitations of Microsoft Remote Desktop. Please see: Search results for 'REMOTE DESKTOP' - Roon Labs Community
Dear Roon community
Perhaps I can help a Roon user with this. I have found the solution to my problem, and it is actually very simple. After measurements with LatencyMon show that the latencies are lower when the MSI GeForce graphics card is deactivated, only the Microsoft Remote Display Adapter graphics card is activated in audio mode. However, Roon could only be opened after a restart. Then it was no longer possible. The solution is to end the RAATServer, Roon, RoonAppliance and RoonServer processes with Task via the Task Manager and then open Roon again using the button without a restart being necessary.
