Roon starts and the icon undulates but Roon never comes up

Description of Issue

Roon does not fully come up the black screen with the Roon, the Roon icon wiggles but nothing happens it just stays like that forever.

Hey @Joel_Kaplan,

I’m so sorry to hear you’ve ran into this issue. I was wondering, did you get a chance to completely reboot your MacMini:

  • Quit Roon
  • Turn off your Mac
  • Unplug it for a few minutes
  • Plug it back in
  • Turn on your Mac
  • Launch Roon

Does it work?

Hi @Joel_Kaplan,

Can you try this:

  • Exit out of Roon/Roon Server
  • Navigate to your Roon Database Location - Database\Registry\Core
  • Locate your tidal_account file and delete it
  • Try to start Roon again

I can now play stuff in my library but I don’t have access to Tidal which I have a subscription to
