Description Of Issue

I used to be able to play back to my PC speakers on Dell XPS using System Output. Speakers are plugged into analog output via Realtek High Definition Audio as default device. Now when I try to playback to this device, it shows as playing for about 1 second, then shows Nothing PLaying. Wondering how I can get playback to work on my PC again?
Thanks

Mark

Hi @Mark_Pocock,

When did this issue start? Since experiencing this issue have you tried rebooting your Core machine?

Been about 3 weeks. Yes have tried rebooting core, no change. Thanks, Mark

Hi @Mark_Pocock,

Is there any change in behavior if you try reinstalling Roon Bridge?

  • Make a Backup of your current Roon Database
  • Exit out of Roon Brdige
  • Navigate to your Roon’s Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “Roon Bridge”
  • Rename the “Roon Bridge” folder to “Roon Bridge_old”
  • Reinstall the Roon Bridge App
  • Verify if the same behavior occurs
