Roon stopped playing lossless files from Tidal (ref#OMYFCS)

Hello, Roon has stopped playing files lossless, though I have not changed anything in my system or Tidal (source). I have toggled Tidal quality settings as well as trying different cables and DACs. Eliminating all other causes, Roon seems to be running improperly. I can only continue using Roon if it will play lossless. Please advise.

Thanks for reaching out to us to ask about this. I want to clarify exactly what is happening here. Are the lossless Tidal files not showing up in Roon when you search for them or are they showing up but not playing as lossless? Do you have any lossless local files and do they play properly?
Is this one of the tracks that you experienced lossy playback with?

Tidal lossless files are showing up in Roon, however they’re playing lossy.

Unfortunately I have no local lossless files. The photoed songs haven’t been tested recently, but I only used (should be) lossless files for testing.

I don’t know the history, but …

Did you set Roon > Settings > Services > Tidal > Edit > Streaming Quality to Max?
