Description of Issue

click play in Roon. Play icon triangle changes to pause icon, but track status doesn’t change. Timer on the track stays on 0:00. Was working fine earlier. Now can’t get it to play. Tried restarting Roon. No luck.

Hi @Rusty_Lewis,

While it’s been some time since you posted, recent diagnostics seem to indicate your Core has been online and playing back without issue. Are you still experiencing any freezing or crashing?

Hey Connor,

Thanks for following up. I’ve just completed burning all of my CDs. Left Apple Music and just put the files in a new folder on my Mac mini. It has been playing back without issue so I think I’m good for now!

New issue surfaced regarding ARC. (If you want me to start a new message string just let me know.) I can’t get ARC to successfully connect to the Core. I’ve worked with my ISP (just added Fiber a few weeks ago so they helped me open the correct port on the router.) Here’s the error message I’m getting in Roon:

{
“ipv4_connectivity”: {“status”:“NetworkError”,“status_code”:502,“error”:“error: Error: connect EHOSTUNREACH 150.aaa.bbb.ccc:55000, response code: undefined, body: undefined”},
“external_ip”: {“actual_external_ip”:“150.aaa.bbb.ccc”,“actual_external_ipv6”:“null”,“router_external_ip”:“null”},
“natpmp_autoconfig”: {“status”:“NotFound”},
“upnp_autoconfig”: {“server_ip”:“192.168.40.1”,“found_upnp”:true,“error”:“<s:Envelope xmlns:s="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/\” s:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/\“><s:Body><s:Fault>s:ClientUPnPError<UPnPError xmlns="urn:schemas-upnp-org:control-1-0">718ConflictInMappingEntry</s:Fault></s:Body></s:Envelope>”}
}

Networking is my weakness. I think I have the proper settings in the router, but not sure what else to do. Suggestions?

Rusty
