Started Roon this morning playing a shuffle of about 150 albums.

Roon stopped playing without any indication (except that on my Windows 11 Roon client the queue screen was cleaned). Hower, the action bar at hte bottom was still availbable, and clicking Play resumed playing without issue. Clicking Album page also reloaded the screen, looking at the Queue all information was there.

I have taken a look at the Roon logfiles, but I have no idea what goes wrong.

The last time I had to manually reactivate playing was arout 13h14 . I was not actually listening at that moment, so most probably the system stopped playing some minutes before that.

Logfiles can be picked up at:

Roon logfiles Dirk 6 July 2023

I would appreciate if @support could dive into these to get an idea wat is actually going wrong.
Thanks in advance

Dirk

Hi @Dirk_De_Taey,

Thank you for your precise report and for sharing logs.

We’ve noticed your embedded HQPlayer is the assigned endpoint around the time of most warnings in the diagnostics you’ve passed to the team. Do you have logs from HQPlayer itself around the timestamp above? Is HQPlayer on the most recent version?

What happens if you stream directly to another endpoint and bypass HQPlayer?

Additionally, please provide an example track that was playing the next time you encounter this to assist with pinpointing the error trace.

We’ll pull diagnostics again from our end once you’ve had a chance to test with the Cambridge or T+A directly.

Hi Connor

Thanks for your feedback.

(Un)fortunately, I am on holidays now, so testing will only be possible starting beginning of August.

No problem, @Dirk_De_Taey, we’ll be standing by.

Hi Connor

This topic can be closed.

Apparently, the errors were fortcoming from a bad processor.
After having it replaced, errors are not occuring anymore (fingers crossed)
