I realise that bugs of any kind frequently happen on Roon, it’s rather unreliable, hopefully you guys can invest in testing software or ways to mitigate such issues. I’m running Roon and Roon Server on my Windows PC, Roon is connected to HQPlayer and HQPlayer is playing to my Raspberry Pi NAA.
As data from HQPlayer does not go back to Roon and I did not make any update to HQPlayer or the NAA, I believe the issue lies with Roon. I’m running Windows 10, everything should be updated to latest. I’m not sure if other applications on my computer is interfering with this issue, but I have no evidence of this, just it sorted out my album art issue last time.
I’m playing Qobuz and I’m from Singapore. I believe the Qobuz API should still work with Roon with me being in Singapore. I won’t be surprise if Qobuz is not doing a good job with their API, but if Qobuz wants to retain customers, I think it’s important they work on this as most of us use external software that streams from Qobuz.
Anyone out there have similar issue? I’m trying to avoid opening a ticket because that means I have to fill up lots of data which I just do not want to do, it takes up a lot of time.
