· I would like for Roon to play music continously, 24 hours a day. For some reason it stops playing. I've tried setting up long playlists that loop and I've tried playing the radio, but when I was up the music has stopped.
The Sleep Timer is not set. Thanks in advance for your help.

Continuous 24/7 playback should absolutely be possible! Since you have already confirmed that the Roon Sleep Timer is off, the most common culprit for overnight dropouts is actually the operating system where your Roon Server is running.
Since your Roon Server is hosted on a Windows machine, the operating system has built-in power management features. By default, Windows will try to put the computer, the hard drives, or the network/USB ports to sleep after a few hours of “inactivity” (even if music is playing in the background), which instantly cuts off Roon’s audio stream.
To keep the music flowing through the night, please check these specific Windows power settings:
Disable Windows Sleep
Click the Windows Start menu and open Settings (the gear icon).
Go to System > Power & sleep (or Power & battery in Windows 11).
Under the Sleep section, ensure the drop-down menu is set to Never.
Disable Hard Disk and USB Suspension (Advanced)
Sometimes Windows keeps the PC awake but turns off the hard drives or the USB ports where your audio gear is connected to save power.
Click the Windows Start menu, type Control Panel, and press Enter.
Go to Hardware and Sound > Power Options.
Next to your selected power plan, click Change plan settings, then click Change advanced power settings.
In the small window that opens, expand Hard disk > Turn off hard disk after, and change the setting to 0 (which means Never).
Expand USB settings > USB selective suspend setting, and change it to Disabled.
Click Apply and OK.
Disable Network Adapter Power Management
Just like the hard drives, Windows can occasionally put your network connection to sleep to save power, which instantly disconnects Roon from your audio devices and streaming services.
Right-click the Windows Start button and select Device Manager.
Expand the Network adapters section.
Right-click your primary network adapter (usually containing “Ethernet”, “Wi-Fi”, “Intel”, or “Realtek” in the name) and select Properties.
Go to the Power Management tab.
Uncheck the box that says Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
Click OK.
Once you have made these changes, please give your Windows PC a quick restart to lock them in, and try your overnight playlist again.
Would you let me know if adjusting these power settings successfully keeps the music playing until you wake up?
