Roon streaming bridge?

Hi there,
are there any plans on your roard map for an own hardware streaming bridge?

The devs have said in a number of threads (can’t locate any atm, may edit in later) that they have no plans to build Roon hardware. Many of the devs came from Sooloos which has dedicated hardware and Roon was formed with an intention of focusing on software only. I understand reasons include:

  • Making Roon available to a wider audience of users;

  • Enabling co-operation with hardware manufacturers rather than competition;

  • Avoiding the expenses of manufacturing, warehousing, testing, delivering, servicing and repairing hardware;

  • Sticking to the knitting and focussing on core (or Core) competencies.
