Roon stuck on "loading album..," when selecting an album recently edited. All other albums are fine. But after making edits I can't return to that album. I've restarted Nucleus One. I've restarted the app. I've restarted the computer I'm connected to. Nothing changes the "loading album..." status.
Describe your network setup
Nucleus One wired though Linksys 1gb switch. Eero mesh wireless to windows 11 laptop. As most of the library works fine I doubt this is a network issue.
Thanks for writing in! We weren’t able to see any Nucleus tied to your account, would you please use the directions found here and send over a set of Nucleus Roon Server logs to our File Uploader?
Which album are you having issues with specifically?

It is not one specific album. It is multiple. It happens after I do edits. After making changes to albums this occurs when you return to the album. After an hour - can’t narrow down the timing yet - you can go back and get access. Then if you make another edit it hangs up again. I’ve added some songs recently that don’t have the correct album and song titles. Doing it at this pace will take me forever to complete.
Looking at the instructions for adding a Nucleus to my account it would seem the Nucleus must be tied to my account. Not sure how to proceed on that end. My account appears to be logged in properly to the Nucleus.
I was able to complete my project after a tedious process. IF I pressed the back arrow in “Albums” I could go back to the tracks on the album without having to go through the “loading” process. It would allow me to edit the next track that way. This doesn’t solve the problem of “loading album” it just allowed me to get around the problem. If I go to the album now it still has the “loading album” problem but I can search for the songs and play them listed properly. If I restart the roon server sometimes that will clear up. Still hoping for some suggestions on how to clear this loading problem up.
Thanks so much for your patience and additional information! We were able to review the logs you sent over around the time you shared your screenshot, but didn’t see any indication of the loading issues you’re experiencing.
What edits are you performing specifically? Are these all local albums to your library?
If you could perform another edit, share the specific album, and then upload another set of Nucleus logs, that would be helpful. Thank you!
Ok. I’m sure I can recreate the problem easily enough. These are CD rips where Roon can’t identify the album. If Roon can identify the album everything works fine. But when it can’t I attempt to search for the album. Sometimes that works sometimes it doesn’t. When it fails I have to manually enter the song and title details. IF I can do this without having the album reload it works fine. But if I click on the album - without having the edits finished - that is when it goes into “loading…”. Usually if I restart the Roon software I can get back into the album to continue to edit but not always. Sometimes I have to leave it for a day or two, then restart the Roon software, then I can edit again. Seems weird I’d be the only one having this problem.
