Describe the issue

I have circa 2000 albums in my library. Only 11 of them are labelled as Classical genre. About 8 or 9 of those labels are incorrectly tagged as Classical. Even so every single week I get suggested 90% classical albums. I ban them as soon as they appear but I am relentlessly getting suggested classical albums that I have zero interest in and it is really ruining my roon experience.

Hello @Billy_k ,

Thanks for reaching out with your concerns regarding this. I do agree, if you have only a handful of classical albums, these should not be shown as often as you show. Can I please ask that you exit out of Roon/RoonServer, create a .zip/.7z archive of your RoonServer folder, upload it to the below link, and let us know once uploaded? The QA team can take a look, though please note in advance that it may some time.

Thanks!

Same here. I have a few more classical albums, but still these are a minority in my library. Most suggestions though are for classical albums, and these numbers seem to grow each week.

I have uploaded as requested @noris

Good day @Billy_k !

Thanks for uploading your Roon Server to us.

We’ve raised a request to QA team to check it.

We will be back to you once we have a results of testing, but that is possibly not gonna be too quick.

Stay Tuned!

Regards.

Thanks Alex. Any rough idea on timeline?

Good day @Billy_k !

Thanks for waiting.

We have just clarified internally and would like to inform you that “New Releases for You” is no based on your library only, so there are some other things considered when generating a recommendations for you.

However, you can select unwanted recommendations and then click on ‘three dots’ button and then click “dismiss from this list”. That will adjust the recommendations algorithm for you.

Let us know please should you have more questions!

Regards.

Thanks Alex I will give that a go and see how I get on.

Sounds good @Billy_k - we’ll be monitoring for your reply and results! :folded_hands:
