I spent over $2,000 to upgrade to their latest Ethernet and USB boards for Ayre Acoustics EX8 2.0.
After installing I was surprised to find out they are still awaiting certification from Roon.
Can anyone help me to understand why Roon is dragging their feet on the certification process. Ayre Acoustics informed me they applied for authorization several months ago and have no idea when their updated boards will be recognized by Roon?
I am a lifetime Roon member using my Nucleus Plus as my server.

If your specific device model does not appear on this page it is not Roon Ready.
If it does appear but your personal device does not get discovered by Roon, then you may need to update the firmware in your device and it is possible that the required firmware availability may be delayed in relation to the first appearance of the device in the Roon Partner page above.
Thank you for responding quickly. I understand why Roon would not want to provide status of their certification. It’s a bit like that Wizard of Oz’ movie where we users just have to trust that things are happening behind the curtain. So far it’s been months waiting for them to certify the recent Ayre EX 8 / 2.0 boards and it could possibly be years or even never. Who knows, maybe Roon let go the people responsible for certifying? Roon does have new owners…
Cheers, Gary G.
