Description of Issue

I did a recent update of Roon software. When I try to use Roon, a message comes up telling me to be patient, because a Roon database update is needed. The data base has been “updating” for days now and still apparently hasn’t updated. What is going on?

Have you restarted the box?

Yes I have restarted the Nucleus+

Hey @Greg_Johnson,

Reviewing your account, I can see that your Nucleus is running the latest build. Are you still running into issues updating?

I’ll be on standby for your reply. Thanks! :+1:

Benjamin;

Thanks for asking.

The problem was that It took an immense amount of time (literally days) for Roon to do the backup of information on some 132,000 songs, following the software update. Roon did eventually do the job; however while it was doing the job I could not listen to music.

Greg

Hey @Greg_Johnson,

Odd behavior indeed. I’m glad to hear things are functioning properly though. If you run into this issue again, feel free to tag me and we’ll troubleshoot. :+1:
