I don’t know if this issue was occurring before today’s updates.
I’ve tried removing the cache, deleting the library and starting fresh, and restoring from the backup. Restoring from the backup solved the issue, but the tracks disappeared after a moment. If I look under “Clean Up Library”, it shows about 6k deleted tracks. 212 tracks remain, and I think they are favorited albums. I can not add Tidal tracks to the library. It says they have been added after I click add to library, but they don’t appear in the library, and if I go back to the track, the add to library button is not greyed out.
We’ve discussed this with our senior QA and development teams. The team is investigating some possibilities here and, as soon as that investigation is complete, we’ll be sure to follow up ASAP.
You have our apologies for the trouble here, and we’ve greatly appreciated your patience as we continue investigating this tricky issue. We’ll be in touch as soon as we can.
A few more troubleshooting items have been tried. I tried creating a new server on a different computer, and the issue was still there. I tried a new Roon account, and the issue was still there. I tried a new Tidal account, and the new Tidal account works fine with both the old and new servers/Roon Accounts.
Going back to my original Tidal account, if I remove a track from Tidal favorites using the Tidal website and re-add it via Roon, it adds the track, but immediately brings me to a page that says the album has been deleted.
Any updates will be shared via the thread above. Since we have a tracking thread on this issue, I’ll go ahead and close this thread for now. If you have any questions or concerns, certainly let us know! Thank you for your patience while our team continues to work towards a solution here.
