How can we help?

· I am experiencing freezes or crashes

Describe the issue

Since the last two updates (4 and 17 days ago) Roon keeps dropping the BBC Radio channel, often saying that it can't connect to this channel.
Very frustrating! How do I return to an earlier release?
Thanks,
Nick

Hi @nicholasphalpin,

Thank you for your post. We’ve reviewed diagnostic logging available to our team upon request for your account.

There are network errors preceding the most recent Roon release affecting both upstream connecting and networked Zones and Roon devices in your ecosystem. These occur around playback of BBC stations, but affect nearly all Roon services.

ROCK doesn’t appear to have a reliable ethernet connection - the machine hasn’t been restarted in some time but last it did, the BIOS found no available network interface other than the loopback.

Please share a screenshot of the RoonOS web administration page in a browser. Can you please also detail your network topology in greater detail, including where and how your ROCK is connected to the internet and your other networked devices? Include all relevant hardware you haven’t listed (if applicable), including mesh nodes, managed switches, and virtual machines.
