Thanks for reaching out. Since this is happening on your Mac M1 after the 2026/Aug/6 update, please click “Start Roon server on this Mac” and see whether that brings the server back online.
Please let us know what you see after that, and we will take it from there.
Have you installed latest version, depending on the OS version you have, it may address the problem.
What’s you mac server specs hardware and os version?
Thanks vova,
I have installed your Roon download file, and replaced with mine.
But the result was the same..
Should I uninstall my Roon completly first, and then install yours?
The reason why Im using old OS is due to my Toonboon Hamony & several old apps.
Please don’t uninstall Roon or remove any Roon data. The logs indicate that an older RoonServer process is still running in the background and preventing the newly installed version from starting.
Now that build 1683 is installed, please restart the Mac. After restarting, open Roon normally and give the server a minute or two to start.
If it still cannot connect after a restart, let me know and I’ll collect the new startup diagnostics.
@raitautsumi, thank you for the follow-up and kind words.
We continue to improve Roon with each update, so I would not ignore those.
And while I fully understand reasons you prefer to stay on current OS version, moving to something newer, would definitely help you avoid new issues or friction.
