Roon not connected to internet

Describe your network setup

It was working 3 weeks a go

If you are uncertain about what you are doing, please reverse bridge immediately as this can introduce significant security risks.

Once you have done this, please post the diagnostic message found under Settings → Roon ARC.

Roon Technical Support will respond as soon as your ticket reaches the top of their queue.

Hey @Ecvet_Sayer, welcome to the community, and thanks for the details you shared.

This looks like a Roon ARC reachability issue, and the error you posted points to the server not finding a usable UPnP/NAT-PMP path through your network.

Since you have both your ISP router and a personal router in the mix, the first thing we want to confirm is that Roon Server is behind only one layer of routing. In setups like this, double NAT is a common cause of ARC staying Not Ready, even when UPnP is enabled. Our Arc Port Forwarding guide covers the network layout we recommend for reliable ARC access. I’ll share a link below.

For the next step, please check these two things:

  • Which device is doing the actual routing to the internet, the ISP router or your personal router?
  • What does Settings > Roon ARC show right now on the Roon Server, especially the diagnostic message there?
If you can also tell us how Roon Server is connected, wired or WiFi, we can narrow down the likely cause from there.
