I am reviewing a Small Green Computer Signature Rendu Deluxe, and with it selected as my endpoint, I cannot get Roon to convert DSD to PCM for my Schiit Yggdrasil DAC (that doesn't process DSD), so I cannot play my DSD files. With the Signature Rendu Deluxe in play, I cannot get Roon to make that conversion. Is there a fix for this?
Describe your network setup
I have standard issue routers from the phone company with an ethernet cable running to a switch (can't recall the make). The Signature Rendu Deluxe that is the designated endpoint is connected to the switch; in turn, the Signature Rendu Deluxe connects to my Schiit Yggdrasil DAC via USB cable. My server, an Intel NUC equipped with ROON ROCK is connected to the switch on another ethernet cable. When I play music, PCM music plays fine, however, when I select a DSD file, I get no sound. And when I try to engage DSD to PCM conversion via Roon settings, I cannot do this. Please, help!

Here are some steps to help troubleshoot and resolve this issue:
Verify Roon’s DSP Settings:
Ensure that Roon is set to convert DSD files to PCM before sending them to your DAC.
Navigate to Settings > Audio in Roon, find your Signature Rendu Deluxe endpoint, and click on the gear icon to access Device Setup.
Under DSD Playback Strategy, select Convert to PCM. This setting ensures that Roon converts DSD files to PCM, which is compatible with the Schiit Yggdrasil DAC.
Check the Signal Path:
While playing a DSD file, click on the signal path icon (a glowing dot next to the track title) to view the processing steps.
Confirm that Roon indicates the conversion from DSD to PCM in the signal path. If the conversion isn’t occurring, it may point to a configuration issue.
Update Firmware and Software:
Ensure that both the Signature Rendu Deluxe and the Schiit Yggdrasil DAC have the latest firmware updates installed.
Keeping your devices up-to-date can resolve compatibility issues and improve performance.
