Describe the issue

I have used Roon several years. Now Roon does not see my audio devices. I use a Mac mini new with M4 chip as my remote core. Initially worked great but now cannot see any external devices. Tried reloading software and restarting. This worked last week but with update I installed yesterday, not seeing devices again. No luck with reloading Roon software and restarting core.

Describe your network setup

Mac core mini M4 with 16 GB memory. Wireless. Worked well but now cannot see devices while see core fine. Can start Roon and see homepage, etc. Have not changed router for years. Orbi mesh.

Hi @Marcus_Clark1,

If you haven’t already toggled Local Network access for RoonServer since updating to MacOS 15+ Sequoia, I’d first do that for due diligence.

In MacOS System Settings, navigate to Privacy & Security → Local Network and toggle RoonServer on.

In your Orib mesh router administration settings page, make sure that Disable IGMP Proxying is toggled off. Multicast forwarding is essential for device discovery on an Orbi mesh network.

Please let us know if this helps.

Yes! Went into Privacy &Security and that fixed it. Thank you much.
