Roon unable to detect Media Device after using Apple Music

macOS Ventura 13.0.1
Mac Studio M1 Ultra 64GB Ram 2TB HD

Networking Gear & Setup Details

Unifi network (switches, router, etc)
Using 1Gbe connection between unifi switch and Mac Studio

Connected Audio Devices

RME ADI 2 DAC FS via Cinnamon USB Cable to Mac Studio
Synology NAS 2 16TB Seagate Ironwolf 7200rpm

Number of Tracks in Library

4,700 tracks

Description of Issue

After I open Apple Music or any other audio source, like YouTube via Safari, Roon will no long be able to detect the RME ADI 2 DAC FS. I have to reboot my entire computer to get it to recognize again.

RME is on the latest firmware.

Following up on this thread, are you still running into this issue? If so, could you please try turning on Exclusive Mode with your RME and see if your issue persists? Here’s more info on Exclusive mode:
