Tell us what's going on

· I am trying to run Roon on just one PC. It tells me that it can;t find Roon Server, but I don't even want anything as fancy as server, I just want to run Roon on one PC. I did a clean install of Roon but am getting the same message. What am I doing wrong??

· I am not using my network at all. Everything is supposed to be on one box, no separate server.

Roon is actually 2 programs, the Roon graphical client and roonserver. You need both running on the same pc.

Hello @Kirk ,

Yes, as @Rugby mentioned, Roon and RoonServer are two different pieces needed to run Roon. After RoonServer is ensured to be running (visible in the taskbar), please open the Roon UI app and select the RoonServer install. Let us know if this helps!
