My Roon is still unable to load albums from Tidal and the situation is getting worse.
Currently almost all albums from Tidal is unable to load in Roon
but it’s totally fine to load those albums directly from Tidal app.
I find if I play the tracks from Tidal in my roon playlist, the tracks play without problem.
I have tried to log out both Tidal and Roon and log in again but the situation is still unsolved.

Hey @Paul_Tao,

Thanks for writing in and sharing your issue! Do you have any active VPNs or third party antivirus software active on the machine you’re attempting to use Roon with? If so, can you please disable them and see if your issue perists?

With that, we have seen users have a better experience in the past if they change their Router’s DNS servers from the ISP provided ones to Cloudflare DNS, Quad9 or Google DNS. Can you please give this a try and let me know if it helps?

I do use VPN services like zerotier and teamviewer. Previously Roon works fine with them. I closed all these VPNs but the problem is still the same. Roon still cannot load albums from Tidal and also KKBOX.
Actually Roon can load the discography page of the artist. Roon can show all the albums from Tidal but when I click single album, it loads for a long time and show the “unexpected error loading album” page.
Then I try to install roon server again, to my surprise the problem is almost solved. Now Roon can load most of the albums from Tidal and KKBOX. But there are still some albums showing “unexpected error loading album” page.
I have tried to re-install both roon build 1470 and earlyaccess 1474. The situations are the same for both versions.
I haven’t tried to change the DNS server. Roon can actually play all the tracks from Tidal and load the album lists (discography) from Tidal. Is it really the problem of DNS?

Weird things happen…
About 2 hours ago after I reinstall Roon, most of the albums from Tidal showed up.
But now almost all albums from Tidal show “unexpected error loading album” page again.
I didn’t change any setting to my Roon or the PC in these 2 hours…

Same situation here with the same internet conditions.

I changed the DNS setting to Google DNS and the problem seemsto be solved.
Most albums from Tidal show up. But those albums I have clicked and showed “unexpected error loading album” pages still show “unexpected error loading album”.
I have log in Tidal again and also relaunch Roon server again but the situation is still the same.
Is there any way to refresh these albums?

Problem has been solved with doing nothing.

Same situation. This morning all albums from Tidal show up without problem!
