Hello @gccooper56 and welcome to the forum.

This sounds very unlikely – can it be it is actually the message from the troubleshooting guide below?

Note: This is not about your music files / library, but about Roon’s application and metadata database.

I just rebooted Roon server on my Macbook and it did come up to home screen. Could not play anything and it wouldn’t load my music. I tried selecting a Tidal playlist and it shut down and brought up a Problem report that says ROON quit unexpectedly. Midway down report it says Crashed Thread: I took a pic of all the strings of data. This is weird

Hey @gccooper56,

Welcome to the community!

Based off your account information, it looks like the version of Roon you’re running on your Mac is outdated. As an easy first step in troubleshooting, lets see if updating to the latest version of Roon may help.

There’s a few ways you can do this, the easiest would be to head to Roon Settings>About and check to see if you’re available for an update (which should be the case.)

If, oddly, you’re not seeing any updates available, you can download Roon again and it’ll auto-update the version you have. You can download Roon here:

https://roon.app/en/downloads

We’ll be on standby to see if the above helps!
