Roon unable to locate Nucleus core after update (ref#3M0900)

· I promised myself I would never update Roon ever again because after every update Roon can’t find my core. But I recently upgraded to a Nucleus and since it’s been well over a year since that promise, I made the decision to update. Sure enough, system can’t locate my core. Incredibly frustrating! I was asked for login credentials and it’s possible that I input my password incorrectly. If so, would it tell me that? I’ve been trying to return to the login page to check but of course there seems to be no avenue to do that. And your help section is way to technical for the average user. I love Roon but these recurring problems are just too much, especially without adequate support. Please help.

Are you able to access the webUI of your Nucleus? The Web Interface can be accessed by:

  1. Typing in the IP Address of the Nucleus in a Web Browser
  2. Typing the hostname of the device, for example  http://rock  ,  http://nucleus  ,  http://nucleusplus  ,  http://nucleustitan  or  http://nucleusone   
  3. Typing the .local suffix for the device, for example  http://rock.local  ,  http://nucleus.local  ,   http://nucleusplus.local  ,  http://nucleustitan.local  , or  http://nucleusone.local

Can you please share a screenshot from your Nucleus Web Administration page, accessible from a browser? We should be able to resolve the problem you’ve reported quite easily if we have access to this information.

The iPad we see in Roon diagnostics is running a severely outdated Roon build - please delete and reinstall the Roon app itself to update to the latest available version on that particular device.
