Roon unable to play iTunes ACC (m4a) files from Synology DS723+ server (ref#R2XN4L)

My iTunes ACC (m4a) files are on a Synology DS723+ server. Roon will not play these files.

Fritzbox, Synology DS723+

Read this first.

While it is not clear from your description, if your Roon Server runs on your NAS then follow the install instructions on the RoonOnNAS project homepage (section Appendix: Adding support for additional audio codecs (like AAC…)).
