Roon unable to play music higher than 44.1kHz and 16-bit (ref#5FBOHT)

Roon wont play higher than 44.1 and 16 bit even for music in my library that is higher sample rate and higher bit depth

Describe your network setup

Google home router. Room core is on a windows 10 machine. DMP A6 Streamer with USB out to Topping D90

The track your playing is 44.1/16. Check your Tidal settings are set to the correct tier in Roon, look settings/services. It should be set to Max. Also ensure your selecting the correct version to play in Roon as Roon allows access to all resolutions available under the Versions tab album unlike unlike other apps which only offer the one.

Thanks for writing in and welcome to the community! @CrystalGipsy is correct in their statement above, there are a few places you can double-check format settings.

Are you seeing this with all media? Or, only tracks from streaming services?

It would also be worth double-checking your zone settings via the volume icon>cogwheel>device setup
