If your using Raat endpoints then crossing subnets from core to them requires forwarding more than mDNS. I have all my Roon stuff on its own VLAN and Chromecasts on their own VLAN and Roon will see these as I set up all the ports required for it to work there are a lot of them. Getting Roon to see any other endpoints on my main Lan however is another kettle of fish. They show up after a while and then disappear again after a short while. Remotes all work fine on my regular lan and can control another core and endpoints on the Roon vlan.
