Does anyone know what filter parameter “Precise” and “Smooth” refer to? I’m assuming Precise is a steep roll off, and Smooth is less steep, but I thought I’d ask just to make sure.

Hi Michael,

Yes, that’s correct. I don’t know the numbers but Precise is a longer filter with a steeper roll-off and Smooth is a shorter filter with a more gradual roll-off.

In a general way which HQP filters are the “longer” and “shorter” ones?

Medium: FIR, Poly-sinc

Shorter: shrt, minring
