Description Of Issue
Hello,
I would like to report a couple of UX issues I have been experiencing.
When either my iPhone or iPad goes to sleep, Roon always refreshes when I return, making me lose my place in the screen. Given how quickly an iOS device will go to sleep, it is very frustrating to lose my place everytime in the track view, and having to scroll to find the track that’s playing again. This is particularly true if I’m listening to, say, a Deutsche Grammophone compilation with several hundred tracks. Another example, which just occurred: I was looking at at my settings on the About screen to get my Roon info. My iPad went to sleep. When I logged back in, it refreshed, taking me back to the last album I was on, instead of the screen I was viewing.
Are there any plans to fix this?
I would always like to mention, that I have generally found the UX to be a little buggy over the past few months. For example, recently I was trying to press the down arrow expand button for the artist info. I pressed it many times, with no effect, until it finally worked. This isn’t always a reproducible problem, but does happen occassionally. I was also frequently seeing the album info screen freeze. The close button (x) didn’t do anything, and I would have to find some other link to click to get out.
I hope these issues can be addressed. The first one in particular, while I love Roon, is driving me back to using the Qobuz app these days.
Thank you.
