here is my set up first, roon rock as the server, eversolo a6 as the stremaer, they both wire conncected to my router.
few days ago, I found there were an update, roon version 2.58, I were using 2.56 working flawlessly at the time. I updated to 2.58, and since then, I will have to restart my a6 everyday, otherwise, although it seems a6 can be found in roon, but no matter what kind album is it (hi-res or not) , it won’t start to play
Seems like my a6 cannot recive the streaming from the server, the screen will wake up, but nothing else. no matter I use the dac build in and output via rca/xlr or use the dac build in my intergrated amp via usb. Also, I have tried to control the roon rock via pc, ipad, samsung app, latest version app.
Would appreciate for any idea I can solve it.

I had the same experience with my Devialet Expert 220 Pro after the latest Roon update. Restarted Roon, and that seems to have solved the problem. Whether it was a temporary “fix” or whether it is now stable, I have not had time to investigate further yet. I use Roon Rock on a Nuc.

seems you have better luck. I’ve tried to restart my A6 and roon rock, woorks for the day, and still need to do something on the second day. I set my A6 on for 24/7 because of the A6 doesnot have the net wakeup fuction
Well, I have seen some strange behaviour of Roon after 2.58 came alive. I also see on other forums that several people have simular problems, also like mine. Maybe something wrong with this update, and something @support should take a look at.
I thought Roon were focusing on stabilisation rather than features this year and last year… Seems like stabilisation is not even working for people out there. I’m sorry I can’t really help as I use an Apple environment. Seems though it may be a networking issue for you. Are you using a fixed static IP in your private network for your Eversolo? and Roon Rock?

For me, Roon, for now at least, works on my Devialet Expert Pro after the latest update of Roon, but I had to restart Roon (Rock on Nuc) to get Roon to play music on Devialet. This despite the fact that Roon “saw”, and was apparently in contact, with Devialet.
This has NEVER happend before the 2.58 update.
