Description of Issue

Hi, I hope you can suggest a solution.

Roon works great in all situations, until I start using DaVinci. Only after using DaVinci does the problem occur.

The DaVinci itself has worked fine for years. Since I installed it, the Roon itself has worked fine.
But, when I finish work and want to listen to some music, the error occurs.

  1. I listen to music on Roon
  2. I quit
  3. I work with DaVinci Resolve
  4. I quit
  5. I open the Roon
  6. It Freeze.
  7. Music playback won’t start - It can’t find a device

Force quit

  1. TIDAL won’t start
  2. Apple Music won’t start
  3. VOX won’t start
  4. Sound cannot be selected in system preferences.
  5. DaVinci Resolve will not start
  6. I finally have to restart the computer
  7. I think the conflict is between DaVinci and Roon. It does not occur with any other program.

Is there a solution? Because it is too much inconvenience.

Hi Pal,

Are you having an issue with ARC, or, and issue with DaVinci Resolve. They seem to be two separate issues. You’ve posted a lot information about the DaVinci issue. Is this the issue you want to fix first? If so, then this should move to the standard support thread, and you should open a second support thread here to fix any ARC issues.
