Description of Issue

When play is clicked whether on laptop or iOS says it is playing but it actually is not. No sound and time does not progress. Have rebooted Nucleus several times and checked connections. Worked perfectly in previous residence. Briefly worked at new house but with track skipping and then sudden stopping. Now nothing is working, neither CDs ripped to SSD in Nucleus or streaming services seem to work.

That has all the hallmarks of a networking issue. What has changed, what are you doing beyond connecting it all up with UTP? Fancy cables, isolators?

Nothing fancy. In fact, I replicated the exact same setup I had in the previous house. Obviously, the ISP has changed, but that should not matter. Much higher mbps rate now, but that also seems immaterial. Roon Nucleus is running an updated version as the unit was in storage for a number of months, otherwise I can’t think of much else. thanks.

Next step would be to clean up the Roon install. Maybe an installation from fresh then apply a backup. Beyond that I am at a loss.

Reinstalled Roon software on Nucleus and it is playing for the first time in a month, so that is a big improvement! Thanks much
