Please help. Thank you

Hi @Jay_Howard,

Thank you for getting in touch with your question and welcome to our Roon Community. We’re sorry to hear that you’re having some issues with grouped playback.

I notice that you’re using a managed switch, we’ve seen those cause problems similar to the one you’re experiencing. We recommend unmanaged switches for use with Roon. You can find more details on Network Best Practices for Roon in this article form our help center.

Please try this, play music to a single zone for about three minutes, then add another zone and wait another three minutes to ensure that playback is in sync, then add the third zone and wait again to check to see if everything is in sync.

If sync slips again, disconnect those audio devices from ethernet and attempt the process above again with those devices on Wi-Fi. This will help reveal if the switch is causing your sync issues.

Please let me know if this helps. We’ll be watching for your reply.
