Description of Issue

Everything was working fine until last week. I had to travel and now addressing the issue.

With the Nucleus powered off, both phone and laptop are “looking for Core”.
With Nucleus on, both phone and laptop do not launch or crash, the startup screen just runs its graphic. “About Roon” does not respond.

Hey @David_Lovett,

Thanks for taking the time to write in! Sorry to hear you’re having issues with your Nucleus and remotes. I was able to take a closer look into your core diagnostics and found database corruption, which could certainly be playing a part in your issue.

As a next step, do you by chance have a backup that may predate when this issue popped up? Besides that, we’ll want to test out how things run on a fresh database. Steps to follow below:

  • Create a Backup of your current Roon Database
  • Stop RoonServer from running in Nucleus’s WebUI
  • Navigate to your Nucleus’ Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “RoonServer”
  • Rename the “RoonServer” folder to “RoonServer_old”
  • Restart the RoonServer in the WebUI to generate a new Database
  • On the Roon Remotes, press “Use another Core” and connect to the new database

I’ll be on standby for your reply. :+1:
